Addressing the #MeToo Movement in Higher Education
    Event Description:
In the wake of the #MeToo movement, it is essential for Colleges and Universities to assess whether they are doing enough to recognize, prevent and respond to sexual harassment and assault on campus. In the context of higher education, the impact of the #MeToo movement is significant and unique due to the close relationships that develop between and among students, faculty, coaches, administrators, and alumni; constituencies with varying expectations and levels of power and influence on campus.
Join us to brush up on existing laws and policies, and explore the impact of recent guidance, trends and best practices through discussion of hypothetical scenarios based on actual cases and events.
