Event Description:Join us on Saturday, October 15th, for the First Annual United Way 5K. This Run/Walk fundraising event will begin and end at the United Way of Tri-County, 46 Park Street in Framingham. The 3.1 mile chip timed course is fully supported with water stops and route support, and will take runners and walkers past the lovely Farm Pond. Participants of all levels are welcome to join us for this inaugural event, the start time is 9:00 am. The registration fee is $25 for adults and $20 for those 14 or younger.
Awards for top male and top female overall, and top male and female in eight age divisions will be given. Prizes will also be awarded to top fundraising team and individual. Money raised will benefit three critical United Way services including three food pantries and two hot meals programs, our early literacy program Ready to Ready to Read, and the United Way’s Suicide Prevention/Mental Health call line.
