Event Description:MassBay 5K Race/Walk
Massachusetts Bay Community College and the MassBay Alumni Council will host the 6th annual MassBay 5K Race/Walk on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at 9:00AM. President Dr. David Podell will be on hand to welcome the runners and walkers at this family friendly event. Medals will be presented to the top runners and prizes will be raffled off to the participants.

Join us for the 6th Annual MassBay 5K Race/Walk Hosted by the Alumni Council.
This year, the MassBay 5k Race/Walk will benefit the Student Hunger Assistance Fund, which was established in response to the increasing awareness of food insecurity among our students. In a survey conducted at MassBay in the spring of 2017, it was reported that 52% of respondents suffer from food insecurity. Our hope is to not only reduce food insecurity in our students, but also to educate the community at large about the breadth of hunger and how that impacts students’ ability to succeed in college and beyond.- Online registration – http://www.lightboxreg.com/massbay-5k_2018
- Registration: $30 registration, $35 day of registration, $10 for students & children 12 and under (plus fees)
