According to the Department of Labor 77% of all substance abusers are currently employed in full-time positons. For small and medium size business the cost of hiring an employee that has a substance abuse problem is very high. It can effect the morale of other employees, can result in loss of productivity and sometimes an accident by such an employee can even close a business down. Along with Background Screening a new employee – drug screening is an important step that an employer should take to make the right hiring decision for their company.
