MetroWest continues to attract businesses looking for room to grow and many communities have invested in staff and resources focused on Economic Development, business attraction, retention, and expansion. Many have also created economic development committees or corporations to actively market their cities and towns to prospective local employers.
This event will focus on the importance and effectiveness of taking a collaborative approach and employing incentives and other resources to foster business attraction and growth. The panelists will provide local examples of success and opportunities for future growth in the MetroWest region.
Municipal professionals and community members working in local government, (including planning-, zoning-, and economic development-related roles), commercial realtors, and representatives from local and prospective MetroWest-based businesses are encouraged to attend.
