Would you like to volunteer at Senator Karen Spilka's Senior Health and Wellness Fair?
The fair will be held on Saturday, October 22nd, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Joseph P. Keefe Technical School, 750 Winter Street in Framingham and will include a continental breakfast and hot lunch all attending.
Volunteers will be asked to help from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The goal of the Senior Health and Wellness Fair is to provide a forum for seniors to learn new information, have an opportunity to ask questions, and enjoy a day out. This year's program will include workshops on health programs and benefits, as well as wellness activities. A variety of individual booths will provide information on topics ranging from recent changes in government health insurance programs to nutrition.
Volunteering at the Senior Fair is a great opportunity for anyone interested in healthcare, elder services, social services, or simply helping the community.
