DESCRIPTION:MassBay 5K Race/Walk to Benefit the Krystle Campbell Scholarship\n\nMassachusetts Bay Community College and the MassBay Foundation will host the 4th annual MassBay 5K run/walk on Sunday\, October 2\, 2016 at 10:00AM. There will also be a fun run for children 8-years old and under that will be held before the 5K. President Dr. David Podell will be on hand to welcome the runners and walkers at this family friendly event. Medals will be presented to the top runners and prizes will be raffled off to the participants.\n\n \n\nWHAT: MassBay 5K Race/Walk benefiting The Krystle Campbell Scholarship \n\nWHERE: MassBay Community College\n\n 50 Oakland Street Wellesley Hills\, MA \n\nWHEN: Sunday\, October 2\, 2016\n\nTIME: 10AM (9:15AM registration opens) \n\n \n\nInterested runners and walkers will pay a $25 registration fee. Children running in the Fun Run and MassBay students will pay a $10 registration fee\, with all proceeds going to The Krystle Campbell Scholarship. Runners and walkers can register at http://www.lightboxreg.com/massbay-5k. \n\n \n\nPeople interested in donating to The Krystle Campbell Scholarship or other MassBay Scholarships can donate here http://www.massbay.edu/foundation. \n\n \n\nThe Krystle Campbell Scholarship was established at MassBay in memory of Krystle Campbell\, a Medford resident who lost her life in the Boston Marathon bombings on April 15\, 2013. She graduated from Massachusetts Bay Community College in 2005\, with an Associate Degree in Business Administration. \n\n \n\nMassBay Community College was recently ranked by the Brookings Institution as one of the top schools for value added and earned salaries in the workforce. Ranked #1 for 2-year colleges in Massachusetts\, #2 in New England and ranked #16 nationally. The College?s facilities in Wellesley Hills\, Framingham and Ashland house day\, evening and weekend classes that meet the needs of degree-seeking students and career minded life-long learners. Online options provide convenience and allow faculty to facilitate the learning process. Since its founding in 1961\, MassBay has been accredited by several governing bodies and strives to meet the needs of the diverse local communities it serves. \n\n##
