Samy and Jules found each other in February of 2011 and have been exploring food, wine and desserts together ever since.
Whether in Boston, San Francisco, or Vienna, Jules was always amazed at Samy's determination and ability to find the perfect gelato, usually after asking for samples in several shops. You might be tempted to think she was just trying to find something close to that made by the Italian immigrants in her home city of Buenos Aires.
It is true that they make fabulous gelato and artisan ice cream, but as Jules learned on their first trip to Argentina together, Samy puts just as much effort finding the perfect gelato shop there too.
She also introduced Jules to the joy of dark Argentinian style dulce de leche available in a dizzying array of pastries, cookies, gelato, and most importantly, CHOCOLATES.
After returning home to Framingham and watching their imported supply of treats disappear, they decided to create a bit of the best of Argentina right here.
