Volturno is recognized by the Associazione Pizzaiuoli Napoletani to make pizza according to the strict guidelines set forth by Italy. Our pizza is charred, airy, and soft with a delicate chew. According to the classical guidelines, the wheat flour dough must be kneaded by hand or in a low speed mixer. Once risen, the dough can only be hand formed. Our toppings are chosen with a commitment to quality and freshness using a farm to table approach that defines Italian cooking. Each pizza is hand crafted to order by our certified pizzioli and cooked in our 100% wood burning ovens at temperatures reaching 900 degrees. All of our pastas are made in house adhering to the regional techniques we learned in Italy. We take great pride in our product and are proud to represent the people who taught us our craft.
