Staples Participates in National Campaign to Read for the Record
Encourages Reading During Early Education Years

    Summary
On Thursday, October 27, Staples’ Child Care Center, operated by Bright Horizons, participated in Jumpstart’s Read for the Record, a national campaign that was launched to address the educational inequities that leave too many children unprepared for kindergarten. John Burke, SVP & Chief Culture Officer, Staples, read The Bear Ate Your Sandwich by Julia Sarcone-Roach, as part of the world’s largest shared reading experience.

Staples was pleased to take part in this event that inspired adults to read with children and organizations to help bring about change in early education by putting books in the hands of more children across the country. So far more than two million readers have participated in the nationwide event.
