• Time-limited opportunity to bring Irving Square project to Framingham

    May 25, 2019
Downtown investments are proven producers of economic growth, locally and regionally. The City of Framingham is seeking donations and pledges from local businesses and residents to turn a tired gravel parking lot into a much-needed urban neighborhood park in a high-impact location, just one block south of Irving Square in Downtown. Think of walkable space for passive recreation, farmers’ markets, and enjoyment by thousands of nearby residents, employees, and shoppers in the City’s historic train-oriented downtown area, and the lift such spaces give to the entire residential and business community.

The City must raise at least $50,000 by June 30 to qualify for a $50,000 state match from MassDevelopment - and is already at 30% of the goal. Please join the community and local businesses to help this goal be reached!

Businesses interested in supporting the project may address questions and send offline donations to Sam Scoppettone, Community & Economic Development Division, at 508-532-5455 or [email protected].
