Framingham Co-op Donates a Defibrillator to Chamber

The Framingham Co-operative Bank Charitable Foundation has given $1,500 to the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce Educational Foundation for the purchase of a portable defibrillator. The chamber said the device would make it easier to respond to emergencies during Chamber events, which some 3,000 people attend each year. In its most recent round of funding, the Framingham Co-operative Charitable Foundation awarded more than $64,000 to various community charitable groups; since its establishment in 1998, the foundation has awarded more than $1.5 million.
