Business after HoursThe offer to host a Business after Hours is a members-only benefit. Business after Hours events are a casual, social Chamber function provided for the enjoyment of its members and prospective members. Business after Hours allow Chamber members to meet one another, to introduce new and prospective members, to network and promote businesses in a relaxed social atmosphere. In general the Business after Hours are scheduled monthly, usually on a Wednesdayor Thursday evening, from 5:30 - 7:00 pm Hosts are responsible for the choice of food and beverage which usually includes hot and/or cold hors d’oeurves, alcoholic beverages (beer & wine) and soft drinks and water. Hosts are encouraged to display business materials, conduct tours and/or provide door prizes which represent/promote theirs or other's business. The cost to sponsor a Business after Hours is $500.00 There is typically no formal agenda, however at approximately 6:15pm the Chamber President takes a few moments to introduce the event sponsor, thank guests and members and give the sponsor the opportunity to say a few words to promote their establishment. New Chamber members in attendance are also introduced and given an opportunity to offer a"60 second commercial" about their business. TD Bank Breakfast SeriesThe MetroWest Chamber of Commerce holds a structured breakfast networking event every quarter. This series is currently sponsored by TD Bank. If you like to do business before work, this could be the networking event for you. Meet other business professionals, engage with the event host and introduce your business in a "two minute commercial" in a round-table format. At this business networking program, nine people are seated at tables with a Chamber facilitator, who keeps the conversation flowing. After sharing business ideas at their table, each participant is allowed to introduce their business to all of the members. In addition, you will hear from a presenting speaker or panel of speakers on a variety of topics. The TD Bank Breakfast helps businesses connect to one another in an inviting setting and allows participants to form partnerships to promote each other's businesses. |
