    We are excited to announce the MetroWest Chamber's 
    2017 Women's Leadership Conference will be held on
    Friday, May 5th at The Verve - Crowne Plaza Hotel in Natick!

    This 3/4 day conference will begin at 7:30 a.m. with registration, networking and shopping from local women-run businesses and will conclude with the Athena Award Luncheon from 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. in partnership with The United Way of Tri-County (luncheon included with full conference ticket)!       Lisa Spadafora Thompson, Deloitte
    With broad ranging experience working with businesses in a variety of industries, including, Life Sciences, Industrial/Manufacturing, Professional Services and Distribution, Lisa Spadafora Thompson, principal (partner) in Deloitte's Boston Office and a leader in the firm's strategy practice will share with us more than 20 years of her leadership experience, working for a small, local consulting firm (Strategic Pricing Group), to serving as Senior Partner and on the Board of Monitor Group, to her current role at Deloitte Consulting LLP. As a mentor to other high potential women professionals and the founder of Monitor Group's Women's Leadership Employee Resource Group, Lisa is fluent about the challenges associated with leading in a male-dominated profession and will be sharing her most recent insights about striving for better work-life balance as an entrepreneur living in MetroWest!

      Becca Pizzi, World Marathon Challenge
    Hear from the first U.S. woman to complete the World Marathon Challenge. Becca Pizzi will share her story about how, as a single mother working two jobs, she was able to train for, and successfully complete, 7 marathons on 7 continents in 7 days in 2016. Hers is a story of commitment, focus, and community and Becca will take us through her journey leading up to, through, and beyond that awe-inspiring week of accomplishment!

      Collette DiVitto, Collettey's Cookies
    Hear from local entrepreneur and hero, Collette DiVitto, whose inspirational story has gone viral - and global - including the Red Carpet at this year's Oscars! The starting-up of Collettey's Cookies is a the story of a women who turned multiple rejections for employment into a game-changing, job-creating entrepreneurial opportunity. Collette, her mother, Rosemary, and sister, Blake, will be part of the speaking line-up at this year's conference. (we might even convince them to bring some cookies!) Don't miss it!

      Sarah Biller, FinTech Sandbox
    As former Chief Operating Officer for Innovation at State Street Global Exchange (SSGX)
    Sarah Biller has spent much of her career building new sources of insights that help executives address common challenges and improve their performance. At State Street, she was responsible for identifying and commercializing new opportunities in data and analytics as the Chief Operating Officer for Innovation at SSGX. Prior to SSGX, she was the Co-Founder and President of Capital Market Exchange, a predictive analytics platform for institutional bond investors, and worked at Fidelity Investments. Sarah has also been an early team member of several Boston start-ups as well as worked for the Corporate Executive Board launching and leading new businesses for the firm and on MCI's Corporate Ventures and Analysis team.
