
Taste of MetroWest is a lively annual celebration of the region’s rich culinary scene, bringing together local restaurants, caterers, markets, wineries, and breweries for an evening of sampling great food and community connection. Guests can enjoy a wide variety of food, beverages, and sweet treats while discovering local businesses and community organizations. Attendees get to vote on their favorites of each category, making the Taste of MetroWest an interactive and flavorful experience that showcases the very best of MetroWest.

Become a vendor at the next Taste of MetroWest
Food Vendors
The Taste of MetroWest is an annual community event celebrating the incredible culinary talent and beverage establishments throughout the MetroWest region. The event attracts around 300-400 attendees each year, making it an exciting opportunity for local restaurants, bakeries, cafés, breweries, caterers, and specialty food vendors to showcase their offerings and expand their customer base.
Participating vendors will provide small tasting samples of their signature dishes or beverages for guests to enjoy throughout the evening. Attendees will vote for their favorites in several competition categories, including Best Appetizer; Best Entrée; Best Dessert; Best Beverage; Best Presentation; NEW: Best Gluten-Free/Vegan Item.
There is no cost to participate of the Taste of MetroWest as a Food Vendor, but a refundable cancellation deposit is required to confirm participation:
$100 for non-members | $50 for Chamber members
Deposits will be returned following vendor participation at the event
To participate in the Taste of MetroWest, vendors must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be a food or beverage establishment serving the MetroWest community (Restaurants, bakeries, cafés, caterers, breweries, wineries, specialty food vendors, and similar businesses are welcome to apply)
- Vendors must provide small tasting portions of at least one dish/ beverage and a max of three dishes/ beverages
- Vendors dishes/ beverages being sampled will compete in one of the following categories appetizers; beverage; dessert; entrée; Gluten Free/ Vegan
- Vendors must comply with all applicable food safety and health regulations defined by local municipality MA general law and venue hosting the event
Our Team will provide the following for all vendors:
8ft x 10ft booth space with backdrop | Business name sign | 1 6ft Table with skirt | 2 Chairs
Our team provide the following supplies based on your individual needs:
Cups | Small Bowls | Small Plates | Napkins | Forks | Spoons | Knives | Access to electricity

Non-Profit & Partners
Along with showcasing our incredible lineup of food vendors, the Taste of MetroWest is proud to feature many nonprofit organizations that make a meaningful impact throughout our MetroWest community. By participating in the event, nonprofits have the opportunity to connect with attendees, raise awareness for their missions, engage with community members, and share the valuable work they do every day.
Space for nonprofit vendors is limited and available on a first come, first-served basis. However, our team is committed to working with applicants to accommodate as many organizations as possible and create a diverse representation of the nonprofits serving the MetroWest region.

Q: Is there a cost to be a vendor at the Taste of MetroWest?Â

Q: Do I have to compete in the specific categories, can't I just bring samples?
A: All food vendors must compete in at least 1 category and a max of 3 categories (Not including presentation). All food vendors automatically participate in the presentation category.
The categories are: Best Appetizer; Best Entrée; Best Dessert; Best Beverage; Best Presentation; Best Gluten-Free/Vegan Item.
Q: How do I become a vendor?
A: To become a vendor you need meet the eligibility criteria and submit 2 applications;
- The MetroWest Chamber Application (So our team gets your information)
- The Temporary or Seasonal Event Food Establishment Permit Application (Required by the Framingham Public Health Department)
No food vendors will be able to serve food at our event without both applications completed by the defined deadline
Q: How many dishes can I bring?Â
A: Vendors can bring 1 dish per category they are competing in, and they can compete in a max of 3 categories (Appetizer/Beverage/Dessert/Entree/GlutenFree or Vegan)
Q: How big should a serving be?
A: Servings sizes varies on the nature of the dish; ingredients and preparation capacity. As a rule of thumb a serving for the Taste of MetroWest can be finished in 1-3 bites

Q: Can I buy tickets at the door?
A: Yes, tickets will be available for purchase at the door, however, we strongly recommend attendees buy ticket ahead of time as that allow us to give restaurants a better estimate of how much food to bring!
Q: Is this a vegetarian friendly event?Â
A: The offerings at the Taste vary year by year depending on the roster of food vendors participating. For a more accurate count of vegetarian options being offered, please contact us at luiza@metrowest.org
