    The Chemistry Behind Business

A simple, intuitive, and unique way of looking at the four basic business functions (R&D, Production, Marketing, and Finance) that will help you grow customers and more effectively manage your business.  Both new and established business owners will find one or more elements in this presentation that they can take away and apply to their own businesses.

Alton Brown, the well-known chef, author, and TV personality takes a different approach to cooking.  Frustrated with the recipes and TV shows that gave lots of instruction but little in the way of explanations Alton studied the chemistry of foods and the effect that the different methods of preparation had on the various elements that made up the food.  This freed him from having to follow recipes and allowed him to visualize and prepare his foods in a different, unique, and somewhat unconventional manner.

This presentation takes a similar approach to performing the four basic business functions of R&D, Production, Marketing, and Finance.  We’ll look at a simple model that depicts the intangibles of human behavior and how that model interacts with the four basic business functions to provide you with a different and unique perspective that will help you better understand your business.
