JOINS THE ADVISORY BOARD FOR THE VENTURE FORUM
 
Fletcher Tilton PC is pleased to announce that litigation Attorney Jess Oyer has joined the Advisory Board for The Venture Forum.  Formerly known as the WPI Venture Forum, The Venture Forum is a not-for-profit community for technology entrepreneurs at any stage. For experienced technology business owners, angel investors, venture capitalists, and people starting a new venture, The Venture Forum is a place to test out ideas, gain useful feedback, and find needed resources. It’s a perfect match. Having served the Worcester area since 1822, Fletcher Tilton has the perspective and expertise to guide fledgling companies in both their business and legal needs.
Oyer says “Having long been interested in emerging technologies, I am very excited to join the Advisory Board of the Venture Forum.  This position will allow me to connect with and support individuals seeking to bring new and innovative ideas to market and strengthen Fletcher Tilton’s relationship with Worcester’s entrepreneurial community.”
 
Oyer graduated from The George Washington University Law School in Washington, DC. While in law school, he worked both in the Office of the General Counsel for the U.S. Dept. of Energy and for U.S. Magistrate Judge Beshouri. He also was an Editor of G.W.’s Public Contract Law Journal.
After graduating from law school, Oyer served as a Law Clerk to the Superior Court in the U.S. Virgin Islands. He next worked for a boutique litigation firm in Washington, D.C. before joining Fletcher Tilton in 2016. Oyer is admitted to the bars of Massachusetts and New York.
